Infantry and Cavalry Uniforms - Polish Army 1939

Set of six colors in bottles 22ml

The colors were matched to the original uniforms exhibited in Polish Army Museum in Warsaw. Also experts from the Museum and reenactor groups were asked for comments.

1. „Mundur polowy wz36”- „Polish Uniform wz36”
2. „Mundur polowy wz19”- „Polish Uniform wz19”
3. “Helm piechoty”- „Helmet Dark Green”
4. “Oporzadzenie parciane”- „Equipment Light Khaki”
5. „Mundur oficerski” -  „Officer’s Field Uniform”
6. „Mundur polowy letni lniany” „Summer Field Uniform Linen”

There are a very good researched reenactor setups in Cytadela Historical Society Society webpage: SRH Cytadela

Despite of official wz 36 uniform it was widely used wz19: in cavalry, reserve and some fist wave divisions. Officer's Uniform was similar to wz36 in shade, but was cut from better material. There were some different shades of officer's uniform because it was custom made often.
Color you would need more is brown leather for main belt and shoes. It was rule that shoes were blackened in units except those delivered directly from mobilisation depots.

Picture shows three main uniforms used by Infantry:
A - wz 36 wool uniform - full marching order with rucksack.
B - wz 36 summer linen uniform - full marchiong order, note bread bag at left and new gasmask bag at right.
C - wz 19 uniform - patrol order without rucksack, but with bread bag and gasmask bag. It would have a creatcoat rolled over left shoulder.
